Atlanta's festive holiday season always brings with it countless celebrations within a limited time frame. This season's kick off started with the annual party hosted by Kevin Walton and Derrick Tyner. Each year these two open their home for this huge gathering. Guests are asked to bring toys specified on a wish list, to be donated to Childkind, a local organization which trains and recruits foster parents.
I am always amazed at the outpouring of love the brothas and sistas show for Kevin and this organization! This party grows and grows each year. Here are pics and video from the evening. Thank you to everyone who supported this event!
Kevin & Derrick...thank you for opening your home and heart...and for always standing in your light!
Finally the pics from Paris! I received my repaired laptop today!
My friend Gary and I had a great time in one of my all time favorite cities! We took the train from Berlin, Germany aboard the luxurious ICE high speed trains. Modern, spacious and quiet we relaxed during this 4 hour ride which departed before sunrise. We were so busy looking to find the first class car that we failed to realize that the train separated and went in two directions at one point in the trip. Of course we were on the wrong end of the train! LOL. Fortunately we were able to correct ourselves and only had a brief detour! We easily made our connection to the Thalys train to Paris.
Upon arrival at Paris Nord Station, my good friend and Paris resident, William met us and helped us find our hotel. During the trip we visited the Louvre (you can never see that place too many times), dined on great food and barely escaped an armed robbery! While strolling through various high end stores we were at Harry Winston's Jewelers. Afterwards we left for lunch. Later we learned that moments later, drag queens stormed the store with machine guns and committed the largest jewelry heist in Paris History! Thankfully we were out of harm's way and oblivious to this foolishness until much later that evening.
Great food! Art! Culture! And incredible vibe. I love to visit Paris as it always inspires! Special thanks to Gary for keeping me in stiches the entire trip! You're an incredible person!

I am over in Europe making this post on a French keyboard where the letters are not in the places I am used too. Unfortunately my laptop hard drive crashed this morning. Thankfully the data loss was minimal.
This trip began in Seattle where my friend Gary and I partied the night away! Just when I thought I was too old for that! I dined on great sushi before calling it a night. The next day we left for Berlin, Germany.
After landing in Berlin, my good friend Kirk, who lives there, took me around. Once the computer issue is resolved I will post more pics and video from this trip. After Berlin my friend Gary and I took the train to Paris where the good times got better!
Thanks for your patience!
