While in LA over the weekend I had the chance to catch up with writer, director, producer Patrik-Ian Polk. Fresh on the heels of three NAACP Image Award nominations for his movie, "Noah's Arc: Jumping The Broom," Patrik smoothly revealed yet another of his talents! "The Idiot," a song featured on the "Noah's Arc" movie soundtrack is performed by the band, Fol Chen, with Patrik on lead vocals.
From the moment he was summoned to the stage, there was nothing but love for Patrik. His smooth vocal delivery,hypnotic dimples and coy demeanor immediately sucked the audience in to his lure. The catchy pop/rock/funk tune easily lent itself to enthusiastic audience participation.
