Model Zeric Climbs in Bed for Some "Pillow Talk"

G.M.A.D. Hosts Annual Holiday Party in NYC!

Last night I attended the annual G.M.A.D. holiday party in Harlem.  Invited by my good friends Dwight Allen Oneal & Dane Joseph of the show, "Drama Queenz The Series," I made the trek uptown to this festive event.  Celebrating 24 years of service, GMAD continues to be a leading force in NYC's LGBT community.  It was great to see such a great turn out and I'm honored I was able to attend.  To view images from the evening, click here.

Kevin Walton's Annual Holiday Party/Toy Drive!

& A

My good friend Kevin Walton hosts a huge holiday party each year.  This year hundreds flocked to his home for a standing room only event.  Kevin's parties are more than just a place where beautiful men (mostly) converge, but it is actually a community service based event.  Each year Kevin asks guests to bring an unwrapped children's toy which he donates to Childkind, an Atlanta based organization for empowering families caring fro children with special needs.  Childkind specifically targets the LGBT community for foster parenting, understanding that our resources, skills and love are just as good as anyone else.

Thank you to all the men and women who came out to support.  The crowd was incredible!  Kevin is an outstanding example of how giving back blesses you more than those you are helping.  Thank you Kevin for always standing in your light!

Interior Designer Alvin Wayne Hosts Holiday Party

Interior Designer Alvin Wayne of Atlanta held an intimate holiday party celebrating the launch of his interior design company.  In the spirit of giving, Mr. Wayne requested guests to bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to a locate charity.  It is always so rewarding to see young people in the community making their own way.  A classy evening indeed...and we each received cute gift bags!  Be sure to check out his site and utilize his expert services!

Prop 8- Gay Marriage Ban in California Overturned???

The Huffington Post reports that the same sex marriage ban in California is overturned.  Wow.  Not that I have any plans to get anywhere near an alter...LOL...but this is huge in the equal rights quest for all people in this country.
Still awaiting further verification on this story's accuracy.

Due to technical difficulties I was unable to upload my Worlds AIDS Day video yesterday while in D.C.  I had a chance to visit the Martin Luther King Memorial on the National Mall and I was compelled to record my message there.  My good friend, TSSexyChanel of Chicago posted her power video yesterday.  Take a look at both videos, both powerful messages and continue the healing!

Today is Wold AIDS Day and a great time to get tested for HIV as well as other STD's.  While there is much work still to do to destroy the stigma surrounding HIV, medication and education is far more effective than it once was.  Take a moment to locate a testing facility near you.  If you are negative, learn how to stay that way.  If you are positive, learn how to live healthily.  There are still far too many of our young people becoming infected unnecessarily.
