"New Beginnings" - TV Pilot for OWN

A few weeks ago I was invited to appear in a tv pilot for OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network)!  While OWN has first dibs, it could be presented to other networks if they pass.  The reality themed show focuses on Brenda Browder, her husband, children and controversial, gay, ex husband, J.L. King.  The dynamic between the characters definitely brings forth some critical conversations needed in our cultural dialogue.   I am not at liberty to discuss further details on the concept, but I just wanted to share with you some of the incredible things transpiring in my life.

Pilots are merely selling tools.  Whether or not this show sees the light of day, or if it does and I am not a part of it, I can honestly say I am so honored and humbled that I was asked to participate.  This opportunity presented itself wholly outside of my relationship with Ms. Winfrey...all the more amazing!   When you walk that walk of positivity, all kinds of doors open.  I truly try to maintain this space of gratitude and earnest living, for I know that is how the blessings multiply.

This is an exciting show and I'm sure it will do well when produced.  We should hear something by Thanksgiving.  Please offer your positive prayers.    In the meantime I'm going to keep dreaming, keep being appreciative and keep standing in my light.  Promise me, you will do the same!
