G-List Society Names Me In Their #BLACKGAYSROCK Top 50 For 2012!

View Entire List HERE.

I have to say once again, I am honored, humbled and surprised to be named again as one of the most influential people of 2012.  Seeing that this comes directly from the community I represent, the recognition has special significance.  I do not do what I do because I aim to make lists, but I am very appreciative!  To see so many people in the community blazing trails continues to make my heart smile.  I appreciate everyone on this list as well as the countless others not mentioned here but whose work is equally as influential.  As long as each of us continues to stand in our own light, love and support one another, we will continue to show the world just how much we do matter!

Thank you G-List Society for the honor and much love to all the personalities mentioned.  Let's keep moving forward on the path of positivity!  An amazing year this has been, let's take it to new heights in 2013.  Love RULES!!!!!

Anthony Antoine's "Secret Lover" - Official Music Video

Singer Anthony Antoine is back with a brand new single and provocative, hot new video!  The ballad, "Secret Lovers"tells the an all too familiar story, but one that is rarely expressed in mainstream media.  Be sure to watch, comment and support the single!  I'd love to read your feedback!

"Can You Hear What I'm Saying? An Erotic Anthology" The legendary James Earl Hardy is back with an all new book!

Legendary author James Earl Hardy of the iconic B-Boy Blues series, returns with his first short story collection, “Can You Feel What I’m Saying?” An Erotic Anthology.”  Fans of the B-Boy Blues series know no one can quite describe a hot love scene from the African American SGL perspective better than Hardy!  In this anthology Hardy gives readers more of what they are ready for AND as always much to leave jaws agape.  Whether he’s sharing the tale of a 40 year old ‘born again’ virgin’s lust for his 20 year former student or the maintenance man’s house (booty) call, these salacious stories will have your break out in a sweat while praying that no one sees what may appear as your obvious, inappropriate pleasure!

“Can You Feel What I’m Saying?”  Um, yes boo, we certainly can!  We are so glad you are back!

DBQ Magazine Lists Me Among "The Loud 100 LGBT People of Color"

When I started this blog and subsequently, 3LWTV, I did not have the intention of being 'recognized.' Sure,  I wanted our community to empower itself, but it clearly wasn't about me, per say.   I am humbled and honored that so many in the community have embraced my efforts and overwhelmed when the recognition is public, like my recent inclusion in DBQ Magazine's "The Loud 100 LGBT People of Color" list.  I don't strive to make 'lists,' I strive to be excellent.  With that effort however, often comes recognition.  Truly a blessing.

DBQ Magazine is a quarterly publication which highlights the important issues, movers and shakers and so much more in LGBT communities of color.  Much like 3LWTV, the publication is an inspirational and a healing resource for us all.  I cannot describe my joy seeing so many of us making moves in the world as our true, authentic selves!  This truly makes my heart smile!

I had the opportunity to meet DBQ Mag founder, David Bridgeforth, during my recent visit to NYC.  I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to sit down with such a powerful force in the new generation of  leaders!  His focus, talent and work ethic give us all reason to be proud!

I strongly encourage you to support the efforts of DBQ Magazine by subscribing here:

I hope you enjoy the magazine as much as I do.  Again, thank you DBQ Magazine for including me on your list and more importantly, for the incredible work you continue to do!

Keep standing in your light!

How Meeting Oprah Changed My Life

As the visibility of my friendship with Oprah Winfrey gains momentum,  I receive more interview requests from various media outlets.  While I clearly understand the fascination with Oprah, I must admit I'm surprised when people want to know more about me. This is truly an honor, and one I do not take lightly.  I am continually reminded that the work I began four years ago as a hobby, has really begun to take flight and inspire many.  My prayer is that we continue to recognize our greatness and boldly execute our individual and collective contributions to the betterment of humankind.  Oprah has used her life and her monumental platform to do that very thing for years.  Outside of her wealth and celebrity, the integrity of her being not only speaks volumes, but continues to move the world.  She truly walks the walk.  We can too!  What an honor it is to be, as she call us, a "carrier of the light!"

I hope you enjoy the interview.  Thank you Lisa Brown and YS Mag L.I.V.E. for the opportunity!  Keep standing in your light!

Would love your feedback.
